Common questions
Where do these property values come from?
They are typical ranges for standard grades, pulled from published data sheets across several producers. Individual grades can fall outside them, so use your grade’s data sheet for design and the lot COA to check what you received.
Why do two data sheets for the same resin show different numbers?
Different test methods (ASTM vs. ISO), specimen sizes and conditioning (dry vs. conditioned for nylon) all move the numbers. Compare grades on the same method. See how to read a resin data sheet.
Can you find a grade that matches my data sheet?
Yes. Send the data sheet and a polymer chemist will quote that grade or a close equivalent.
Tell us the grade you run now
A polymer chemist reviews every request, then matches your grade or finds a qualified equivalent and prices it.
What to send for an accurate quote
- The grade name, from any supplier, or a data sheet
- Color (natural, black or a custom match)
- Fill type and percentage, if any
- Melt flow, if you know it
- Quantity for this order and what you use in a year
- Ship-to city and state or province
