About ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)

ABS combines good impact strength, dimensional stability and a premium cosmetic finish at a moderate price. It machines and glues well and is one of the easiest engineering resins to process. Its main limitation is poor UV/weather resistance, so outdoor parts usually call for ASA or a capped/UV-stabilized grade.
