Get a quote on PVDFPVDF is the workhorse fluoropolymer for parts that have to survive acids, halogens, UV and heat without the cost or processing headaches of PTFE. It melt-processes on standard extrusion and injection equipment, welds well, and is inherently flame resistant. Homopolymers give the most stiffness and chemical resistance; copolymers trade a little of both for flexibility and impact. Many buyers specify one brand-name grade. Send us that grade, or its melt flow and form, and we will source it or a qualified equivalent.
| Chemical resistance | Outstanding (acids, halogens, most solvents) |
|---|---|
| Continuous use | Up to ~150°C |
| UV / weathering | Excellent |
| Flammability | Inherently flame resistant |
| Processing | Standard extrusion & injection |
| Relative cost | High |
