About Polycarbonate (PC)

Polycarbonate is the go-to when you need transparency and impact in the same part, or when a glazing/lens has to survive abuse. It handles heat better than acrylic and is dimensionally stable. Unmodified PC is notch-sensitive and can be attacked by certain solvents, so grade selection matters.

  • Optical / general purpose
  • Flame-retardant (UL 94 V-0/V-2)
  • Glass-reinforced (10-40% GF)
