Found a grade on a data sheet and need to buy it? Send the data sheet, from any supplier, and a polymer chemist will quote that grade or a close equivalent from one gaylord up. Send it below.
How it works
- Send the data sheet (PDF or a photo), a COA or the bag label, with the quantity you need and where it ships.
- A polymer chemist reads it and checks base resin, filler type and level, melt flow, heat, impact and any listings your part needs.
- You get a quote on the exact grade, or on a close equivalent with the differences spelled out. We aim to send your quote within one to three business days.
What a polymer chemist checks
- Base resin and type: for example nylon 66 vs. nylon 6, homopolymer vs. copolymer
- Filler: glass, mineral or carbon, and the percentage
- Melt flow or viscosity, so the grade runs on your press and tool
- Key properties: stiffness, strength, impact and heat deflection on the same test method
- Additive package: heat stabilized, UV stabilized, flame retardant, lubricated, impact modified
- Color and listings your part needs, such as UL 94 or food contact

Common questions
Do I need the data sheet, or is the grade name enough?
The grade name is often enough. A data sheet, COA or even a photo of the bag label helps when the grade is regional, old or discontinued, or when you are open to an equivalent.
Will an equivalent be identical to my grade?
No two producers’ grades are identical. A polymer chemist matches the properties that matter for your part, such as base resin, filler, melt flow, heat and impact, and tells you plainly where an equivalent differs. Every lot ships with a COA you can check against your spec.
Can you match a discontinued grade?
Often, yes. Send the old data sheet or the last COA you have. See what to do when a grade is discontinued.
What does it cost to send a data sheet?
Nothing. There is no account and no obligation. We aim to send your quote within one to three business days.

Send your data sheet
A polymer chemist reviews every request, then matches your grade or finds a qualified equivalent and prices it.
What to send for an accurate quote
- The grade name, from any supplier, or a data sheet
- Color (natural, black or a custom match)
- Fill type and percentage, if any
- Melt flow, if you know it
- Quantity for this order and what you use in a year
- Ship-to city and state or province
