Low friction and wear, real impact strength, and resistance to fuels and oils. We source unfilled, glass-filled, carbon-filled and lubricated polyketone grades.
Get a quote on polyketoneAliphatic polyketone is a newer semi-crystalline engineering resin. Molders reach for it when acetal parts wear or squeak, or when nylon parts swell and lose dimension from moisture. It stands up to fuels, oils and many solvents, stays tough when wet, and runs on standard injection equipment. It is not a high-heat material: it melts around 220°C and is best below roughly 100°C continuous. Above that, look at PEEK.
Sourcing note: we supply polyketone through import channels. If you need domestic-only material, tell us in the form and we’ll let you know what’s possible before quoting.
| Impact strength | High |
|---|---|
| Heat (HDT) | ~100°C unfilled, higher with glass |
| Wear & friction | Excellent |
| Moisture uptake | Low compared to nylon |
| Chemical resistance | Excellent (fuels, oils, many solvents) |
| Relative cost | Moderate |
