What to check on your Lexan paperwork
- Ask your seller in writing whether the grade name, suffix and formula are unchanged.
- Get the data sheet and COA from the new owner and compare them line by line with your old ones.
- Look up the UL file holder name for your grade on UL Product iQ.
- Ask for FDA, REACH, RoHS and other letters issued by the new owner.
- Update your supplier record (legal entity, remit-to address, contacts) and confirm any bank change by phone.
Company names you may see on older Lexan paperwork
GE Plastics, General Electric, GE Advanced Materials, SABIC Innovative Plastics. If an old drawing, COA or UL file names one of these, it can still refer to Lexan.
