The short answer
Owner now (Americas): DOMO Engineered Materials, now owned by Lone Star Funds and being combined with RadiciGroup
Sold 2026
What changed, and when
Former Solvay brand, owned by DOMO Chemicals since 2020. DOMO sold its Engineered Materials business, including the Technyl brand and its Buford, Georgia operation, to an affiliate of Lone Star Funds. Announced Apr 30, 2026. Closed May 2026. Lone Star is merging it with RadiciGroup's polymers business, and the Technyl range now appears on RadiciGroup's website. The Belle Etoile plant in France was not part of the sale. The new owner says customers keep the same teams and the same Technyl products.
