Request a QuoteThe short answer
Zytel 70G33HS1L NC010 is a 33% glass fiber reinforced, heat-stabilized polyamide 66 (PA66-GF33) with lubricant and release agent, for injection molding. It is the heat-stabilized counterpart of Zytel 70G33L. Zytel was a DuPont line; Celanese acquired it with most of DuPont’s Mobility & Materials business on November 1, 2022, and Celanese lists the grade as available in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. It has no published melt flow rate; Celanese gives a viscosity number of 153 cm³/g (ISO 307). Density is 1.39 g/cm³ (ISO 1183), tensile modulus is 11,000 MPa dry (ISO 527) and HDT is 252°C / 486°F at 1.8 MPa (ISO 75). Grades from other producers to ask about include Vydyne R533H NT, Ultramid A3WG6 and Durethan AKV30. They are not identical, so compare the data sheets and run a trial before switching.

Zytel 70G33HS1L specs from the data sheet
Typical values from Celanese’s current grade record for Zytel 70G33HS1L NC010 in its Chemille materials database (checked October 31, 2026). Processing settings, UL 94 and CTI come from the DuPont-era data sheet published through UL Prospector (form TDS-5960-en, May 2018), because the Celanese record does not list them. Dry / conditioned values are shown where the data gives both. Typical values are not specifications; the lot COA shows what you actually receive. Values only compare at the same test method and condition.

Grades to ask about instead of Zytel 70G33HS1L
These grades from other producers have similar published specs. None is a drop-in replacement: additive packages, flow at molding shear rates, color and approvals differ. If your part, drawing or customer approval names Zytel 70G33HS1L, any change needs your approval and usually a trial.
| Grade | Producer | Melt flow | Density | Key property | How it compares |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vydyne R533H NT | Ascend Performance Materials | Not published | 1.40 g/cm³ (ISO 1183) | Tensile modulus 10,600 / 7,900 MPa dry / conditioned (ISO 527-2); stress at break 205 / 145 MPa; HDT 250°C at 1.8 MPa (ISO 75-2/A); UL 94 HB at 0.75–3.0 mm | Close match. 33% glass, heat-stabilized, lubricated PA66 with improved flow. Ascend lists Stellantis MS-DB-41 CPN 2043, the same Chrysler material spec number shown for 70G33HS1L, and FDA 21 CFR 177.1500 and EU 10/2011 among agency ratings. | Ultramid A3WG6 | BASF | MVR 30 cm³/10 min (275°C / 527°F, 5 kg, ISO 1133) | 1.36 g/cm³ (ISO 1183) | Tensile modulus 10,000 / 7,200 MPa dry / conditioned (ISO 527); stress at break 190 / 130 MPa; HDT 250°C at 1.8 MPa | Partial match. Heat aging stabilized PA66, but 30% glass rather than 33%, so slightly less stiff and strong and a little lighter. BASF lists cooling fans, lamp socket housings and automotive powertrain parts among its uses. Quote this alternative › |
| Durethan AKV30 | Envalior (former LANXESS line) | Not published (VN 146 cm³/g, ISO 307) | 1.36 g/cm³ (ISO 1183) | Tensile modulus 10,600 / 7,000 MPa dry / conditioned (ISO 527); stress at break 185 / 125 MPa; HDT 250°C at 1.8 MPa | Partial match. 30% glass PA66; the data sheet lists release agent but no heat stabilizer, so it is not a match for heat-aging duty. Ask Envalior which heat-stabilized Durethan AKV 30 version fits, and for its current sheet. Quote this alternative › |

Typical uses for Zytel 70G33HS1L
From Celanese’s grade record and published listings:
- Stiff, strong injection-molded PA66 parts that must hold properties under long heat exposure (Celanese describes 70G33HS1L only as a 33% glass reinforced, heat-stabilized PA66 for injection molding)
- Automotive parts molded to the Ford, GM, Stellantis, Mercedes-Benz and Hyundai material specs listed in the Celanese record
- Celanese lists consumer goods, automotive and transportation, industrial and electrical and electronics as industries for this grade
- Parts that need high short-term heat resistance for a PA66: HDT 252°C at 1.8 MPa (ISO 75). HDT is a short-term test, not a use temperature
What to check before you switch
- Do not swap 70G33HS1L and 70G33L without approval. Same glass level, but 70G33L does not carry the heat stabilizer. See Zytel 70G33L.
- Glass level: Ultramid A3WG6 and Durethan AKV30 are 30% glass. Check stiffness-critical features and snap fits if you move from 33%.
- Check the automotive spec number, not only the polymer. Vydyne R533H lists the same Chrysler CPN 2043 spec as 70G33HS1L; for Ford and GM specs, ask each producer for its approval letter.
- Durethan AKV30 lists no heat stabilizer. For heat-aging parts, ask Envalior for a heat-stabilized Durethan grade and its sheet.
- Dry to below 0.20 % moisture; glass-filled PA66 still splays and loses strength if molded wet. See the resin drying guide.
- Compare values at the same conditioning (dry as molded vs 50% RH) and the same ISO method.
- Run a trial lot and check shrinkage, warpage, cycle time and surface finish before you switch production.
Buying Zytel 70G33HS1L: price, lead time and lot size
- Lot size. From one gaylord to a railcar. See gaylord, LTL and truckload for typical weights per box.
- Where it ships from. 22+ partner warehouse locations. Material already in a partner warehouse usually moves sooner than a grade that has to come from the producer; your quote says which applies.
- Price. We do not publish prices because they move with feedstock, freight and order size. What moves your price most: lot size, color, ship-to region, and whether you need Zytel 70G33HS1L itself or can accept a matched alternative. See how resin is priced, nylon price per pound and the monthly market update.
- Paperwork. Supplier COA on every prime lot (what a COA shows). Ask for the producer’s regulatory letter or UL file if your part needs them.
- Trying an alternative? Start with one gaylord as a trial lot, molded and checked before you commit a full release.
- If Zytel 70G33HS1L itself is not available. Some branded grades are sold only through the producer’s own channels or go on allocation. If we cannot source it, we tell you, then quote a matched alternative with a side-by-side comparison.
Send the grade code, your annual volume and ship-to location. A polymer chemist checks it before we quote; we have been in the resin business for 30+ years. For several grades at once, use the resin RFQ template.
Trade names belong to their owners. ResinBridge is not affiliated with these producers; grade names are used only to identify the material. Data reflects published sheets as of October 2026.
