In the Americas and Europe, Cycoloy has been sold by NexPoint Materials (the former SABIC engineering thermoplastics business) since August 2026; SABIC still lists Cycoloy elsewhere. Published melt flow is 19 g/10 min, measured at 260°C / 500°F, 5.0 kg, ASTM D1238, specific gravity is 1.15 (ASTM D792), and HDT is 112°C at 1.8 MPa (ASTM D648, 3.2 mm). Grades from other producers to ask about include Bayblend T65 XF, Lupoy HI5002A and Wonderloy PC-345. They are not identical, so compare the data sheets and run a trial before switching.
Also written as: CYCOLOY Resin C1200HF (the Americas sheet says it is also available in Asia Pacific and Europe). We did not find published color suffixes; quote the full code and color from your drawing or bag label, because color changes the grade.

What to check before you switch
- Brand owner change: in the Americas and Europe, Cycoloy C1200HF now comes from NexPoint Materials. NexPoint says product formulations and specifications are unchanged and that existing SABIC data sheets and certificates remain valid while documents are reissued. Ask for the current sheet and UL file under the new name if your approval references the producer.
- Heat is the main gap. C1200HF lists HDT 112°C at 1.8 MPa (ASTM) and Vicat 130°C (B50). Bayblend T65 XF, Lupoy HI5002A and Wonderloy PC-345 all list lower heat values; check parts near hot components or in sun-loaded car interiors.
- C1200HF is rated HB only. If your part needs V-0 or V-1, it needs a flame-retardant PC/ABS, not this grade or the ones above.
- Melt flow conditions differ: C1200HF is listed at 260°C / 5 kg, Lupoy HI5002A at 250°C / 2.16 kg, and Bayblend T65 XF as MVR at 260°C / 5 kg. Compare fill in a trial, not on the number.
- PC/ABS must be dry. The C1200HF sheet asks for 100–110°C for 3–4 hours and 0.020 % maximum moisture, with no more than 8 hours cumulative drying. See our resin drying guide.
- Automotive approvals (Ford, GM and others) are grade and color specific. Ask for the approval list for the substitute before a trial.
- Run a trial lot and check shrinkage, cycle time, gloss and paint adhesion before you switch production.
